Purcell School 50th anniversary celebration

All the soloists for the evening will be Purcell alumni - including harpist Catrin Finch, who
has been described as ‘the Queen of harps’ and held the post of Royal Harpist to HRH the Prince of Wales (Patron of the Purcell School) from 2000
- 2004.

The world renowned Purcell School of Music is to give a special concert to celebrate 50 years of excellence. The concert will be showcasing a new concertante work by Joseph Phibbs for harp, horn and oboe. It also includes Holst’s Planet Suite and the Beethoven Triple Concerto,
