Student Membership
This fee is for one years membership.
This membership is for students within UK only (18-25 years).
Student membership is open to members aged 18 to 25 years of age, who are currently studying/enrolled in a full-time course of study at a U.K institution.
Please email a copy of your student ID to treasurer@ukharp.net
Your ID must have your name and expiry date. Once we have confirmed your student status your membership will begin and you will receive an email to create your log in. Your membership starts from your confirmation date, not payment date.
Your membership includes:
Exclusive access to UKHA harp events, in-person around the UK and online
HARP magazine: Our twice-yearly magazine keeps you informed of all the news in the harp world; it includes reviews of new music, recordings, concerts and courses, features relevant and interesting articles on harp topics; provides advertising space for harp-related events, products and much more.
Our online hub allows members to stay informed of upcoming events, manage their subscriptions, receive regular e-newsletters, book events, share online resources, find a teacher and view our archives.
Members can apply for a financial award of up to £500 towards any project that includes the harp, such as concerts, workshops, master classes, recording, composition or community and outreach work.
Members can apply to our Emerging Artists Scheme. This scheme is dedicated to guiding and supporting aspiring professional harpists at the outset of their careers through a series of collaborative concerts.
Members can advertise their harps and as teachers for FREE on our website.
As a part of your membership, upon signing up, members are placed on our mailing list and sent an invitation to access to our online members only pages. Members typically receive 2 emails per month including our monthly e-newsletter and information about events the UKHA is running.
You will receive an invitation within 48 hours to create a log in to our online members only pages.
If you do not wish to be included on our mailing list and given access to the online members pages please contact webmaster@ukharp.net and we will remove you from this list.
